Eiffel Tower reopens after Hindu group apologises for 'sidelining' female staff

The Eiffel Tower reopened Tuesday after staff walked out over the removal of women colleagues during a visit by a Hindu religious group that later apologised. The iconic Paris monument was forced to close on Monday after staff went on strike to protest the "sidelining" of female employees during a recent visit by a Hindu delegation.
