Strictly Come Dancing stars braved the elements to take a chilly dip in the sea on Thursday morning, ahead of the show's live tour opening in Newcastle.
After a two year break due to the coronavirus pandemic, the BBC series' annual jaunt around the UK has returned for 2022, kicking off in Birmingham last week.
So far recently crowned Strictly champions Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice have won every single show, with arena audiences throwing their votes behind the couple who triumphed in the ballroom just last month.

While they were nowhere to be seen up at the coast at Long Sands on Thursday, local lass Sara Davies rounded up plenty of other celebs and dancers for a swim in the sea.
County Durham born star of Dragons Den Sara took to Instagram live from the beach and told her followers: "You'll not believe what I've managed to talk the guys into...going wild swimming in the sea at Tynemouth beach!
"Nobody has a wet suit, some of them don't even have swimming costumes, but we're going in!"
Sara was joined by fellow contestants including Rhys Stephenson and Tilly Ramsay, while pro dancers like Kai Widdrington and Nadia Bychkova, Neil Jones and Nakita Kuzman also went for a dip.
And, following some larking about in the sea and posing for Insta worthy photos on the sand, the Strictly gang head to popular seaside haunt Crusoe's to warm up.
They will all be in action at Newcastle's Utilita Arena on Thursday night, for the first of three shows in the city.
After they headed up from Leeds to Tyneside late on Wednesday night, Sara posted a picture of a lip up Tyne Bridge to her Instagram grid and wrote: "Look where we’ve just arrived….. this is the view from my hotel window, in my opinion it’s the most beautiful view in the whole country.
" I can’t wait to perform for ‘my people’ in the show tomorrow….. come on newcastle - let’s have a great one."
As well as the Strictly celebs and pros heading to Newcastle on the latest leg of the live tour, they are joined by judges Craig Revel-Horwood, Shirley Ballas and Bruno Tonioli and former Strictly pro Janette Manrara who is hosting the shows.
