Strictly class of '22 star Matt Goss has reportedly been selling possessions from his home in Las Vegas, where he has lived for over 20 years, as he prepares to make his way back to the UK ahead of the start of BBC hit show Strictly Come Dancing, which returns this September - read the full line up here.
The singer, who found fame as part of '80s British boy band Bros - which consisted of Matt, his twin brother Luke Goss and school friend, Craig Logan - has been selling a vast selection of items such as cars, furniture, cupboard staples like tins of beans, soup and boxes of tea alongside a massive selection of clothes and even a Loose Women mug.
Although the majority of his belongings are being flogged, he is keeping hold of a few items close to his heart, such as crystals, artwork and his dog.
Speaking to The Sun, a source said: "Matt threw open his doors to shoppers. There is some amazing Bros memorabilia and also some random stuff. There are old mugs he has collected throughout his career, one which came from Loose Women.
"People have been rummaging through and picking out the best mementos they can find. It’s so rare for a famous person to do this so it’s been pretty popular.”
The 53-year-old hitmaker revealed earlier in the month the reason for his relocation back to London after so many years in the US. Speaking to BBC breakfast, the When Will I Be Famous star explained, as reported by The Metro: "It just feels really natural [being in the UK]. [I missed] the really simple things. It’s the simplest things that keep you happy." He added: "I think my lifestyle’s different here, but I also get treated like part of the family in this country. I get treated very, very well."
Of his stint on Strictly, Matt is not just excited at the chance to lift the Glitterball Trophy but the show's gruelling training, which he hopes will help him "get a six-pack".
As reported by The Mirror, Matt said: "I’ve been sparring three days a week and doing pilates. I did my physical the other day with squats and lunges and I really felt it in my bum.
“I only have a one-pack so hopefully I’ll get a six-pack. I’m looking forward to fake tan and wearing my little man thong. I don’t want lines. The buttons are pretty low on the shirts so you’ll be seeing my tattoos. I want to feel sexy. At times it’s nice to feel sexier.”
