Strictly Come Dancing contestant Bethany Antonia became emotional as she was paired with professional dancer Nancy Xu.
The House of the Dragon actor revealed her late grandmother shared the same name, saying the partnership feels "unbelievably special".
"I have to say my nanny's name was Nancy and she passed away at the start of this year." she said.
It has been three years since Strictly featured a same-sex couple, with Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin making the final of the competition in 2023.
Antonia admitted she is "a bit of a perfectionist" who gets "really worked up" when things go wrong, but said Xu had already helped her feel better.
