Strictly Come Dancing star Jayde Adams hit out at one of the show's former pro dancers over comments made about Helen Skelton.
The comedian, who was paired up with Karen Hauer lashed out at 2012 winner Joanna Clifton after she claimed: "Helen Skelton's journey is like no other, her new confidence needs to stay."
Helen is one of four stars who has made it through to Saturday night’s final and is one step closer to walking away with the glitterball trophy alongside her pro partner Gorka Marquez.

Former pro dancer Joanna Clifton wrote in The Express that Helen has "been on a journey like no other", saying that the star had undergone an "indescribable" transformation during her time on Strictly as her confidence grew from week to week.
However Jayde didn’t seem to agree as she later took to Twitter and fumed: "Before #Strictly Helen was the 2nd woman only, to finish 78-mile Namibian ultra marathon 23h 45. Kayaked the Amazon, tightroped 150m over Battersea Power Station, cycled to the South Pole, TV, radio, sports career & had 3 babies one she birthed herself. Not confident? HAHAHAHA."
Sheepie replied: "Those things she did for a reason - charity, Blue Peter, because she was asked/dared/challenged. Dancing live on #Strictly each week is much more self exposing, and an entirely different ball game. I absolutely get why people talk of her growing self confidence. #HelenToWin," Birmingham Live reports.
"Helen, like Hamza. Is stoic. Yet Hamza is ‘humble’ and Helen ‘lacks confidence.’ I’ve spent time with Helen, and I know this description is entirely false. I’m just wanting to change these unfair narratives around the women on Strictly. I could point out so many imbalances," Jayde said. "She deserves everything because she’s talented, has worked very hard and because she’s had the classic Strictly progression arc! No. Other. Reason," Jayde continued.
Lisa replied: "You can be the most confident, bad ass person going. But when the person you trust most in the world cheats on you your confidence hits rock bottom. I think strictly has helped Helen get back to her real self, that’s the magic of strictly and Gorka."
Jayde said: "Girl was thriving before, she’s thriving now and she’ll thrive after x." The star added: "She’s just super cool and I’d say, rather chic babes."

"I love all the women on the show, we all go through so much with the audiences who watch it, it’s fairly gruelling but the girls have all kept their s*** together," Jayde continued. "I’ve spent major time with Helen, she’s been consistently happy, smiley and working hard."
Kate Bottley replied: "Exactly this. I blocked some one this week for suggesting she’s ‘milking her story for pity votes’ despite her never having said anything about it on camera If it looks like misogyny and sounds like misogyny then it’s probably misogyny…"
