Shirley Ballas has confirmed that her wedding to fiancé Danny Taylor is not happening.
The Strictly Come Dancing head judge, 63, became engaged to Mr Taylor, 50, back in 2021, after they first met at pantomime rehearsals for Jack And The Beanstalk in 2018.
The professional dancer, known as the "Queen of Latin", announced she "would have married him tomorrow if he asked me" before they got engaged, but two years on from the proposal she has declared she will never marry again.
Appearing on the latest episode of Alan Carr's Life's A Beach podcast, Ballas said: "Two marriages, an engagement, two long-term relationships later and I will not be getting married again. I’ve made the decision."
Ballas was previously married to former ballroom star Sammy Stopford from 1980 to 1984 before tying the knot with dancer Corky Ballas in 1985 with the couple splitting up in 2007 after 22 years together.
She said: "My mum says they’re like buses - you get on one and you get off the other. It’s fine.
"I just have to get used to that again. I was engaged at 16, married at 19. Remarried at 23 and then two-long term relationships."
Despite deciding not to walk down the aisle together, Ballas and Taylor – who have a 13-year age difference – are still believed to be together.
Ballas recently welcomed a new man into her life, in the shape of a grandson.
Her son Mark and his wife, BC Jean, welcomed son Banksi Wylde Ballas in November, marking Ballas' first grandchild.
