Motsi Mabuse has revealed she would bring back Tyler West to Strictly Come Dancing this year if there was a wild card contestant, after viewers hit out at the judges for sending him home 'too early.'
There are now just five couples left in the running for the Glitterball trophy, with the delayed semi final taking place on Sunday, before the Strictly final on Saturday, December 17. Motsi is now part of the furniture on the BBC show, having joined sister Oti in the Strictly team in 2019.
As she headed to the studio for Sunday’s semi, she took to Instagram to invite fans to send some questions in for her to answer and one of those was on the subject of a potential Strictly wild card. The follower asked her: “If you could bring back one contestant from this year as a wild card, who would it be?” Motsi was very definitive with her response, tagging Tyler West in the post.

Having topped the leaderboard, the Kiss FM host had been earmarked as a potential winner. so his exit alongside pro partner Dianne Buswell came as a big shock, with many fans gutted by his elimination from the ballroom as some criticised the judges for their decision to send him home.
There was some good Strictly related news for Tyler last month, when it was confirmed that he would be on the line-up for the show’s live tour, which packs out arenas round the country every year.
Reacting to being on tour, Tyler said: "“I never realised how much dance would change my life but I can’t express how much I’ve loved it and fully embraced this opportunity to learn to dance with the best dance partner anyone could ask for in Dianne!
"I am so happy my Strictly journey isn't over quite yet and I can’t wait to relive some of our favourite dances and live like a pop-star on tour performing for audiences each night! I am buzzing to get on the road with the gang.”
