Strictly's Matt Goss leaves viewers concerned as he 'vanishes' from It Takes Two after axe

Matt Goss left fans concerned when he didn't appear in the It Takes Two studio on Monday Night.

The singer, 54, had been scheduled to take part in the programme following his exit, but due to prior commitments, he joined via Zoom rather than in-person.

Host Rylan explained the situation after fans became concerned about Matt's whereabouts with one saying: "I was worried Matt hadn't come to #ItTakesTwo then, Zoom saves the day once again!"

"Is Matt under a desk too. Oh he has shown up," added a second.

During his appearance, he said he couldn't bare to reflect on his Strictly Come Dancing experience after being voted off of the show, he explained.

The Bros star who was catapulted to fame in the 1980s became the second star to be sent home from the BBC One competition on Sunday (October 16) after a dance-off with Kym Marsh.

As he faced his elimination, the singer was visibly emotional as he praised his dance partner Nadiya Bychkova for helping him get to week four.

During an appearance on Strictly – It Takes Two, host Rylan Clark asked Matt about his time on the show but he said it almost became too much to think back on.

"I'd been there before and it's quite a nerve-wracking place to be," explained Matt before adding: "Especially when you do feel a bit uncomfortable.

"Outside of this, the British public have really made me feel incredibly safe and incredibly well received and at the end of the day, that's all I can ask for."

Matt continued: "I really feel a deeper connection with this country and the people, the messages that they've left for both myself and Nadiya in the past 24 hours have been unbelievable.

"It's touched my heart so deeply, I didn't really want to look at the show and then I dared to," before Rylan explained that he was "glad" Matt had looked back on his time.

Reflecting on being overcome with emotion, Matt said: "I think when Nadiya said those lovely words, I broke and I couldn't contain my emotions.

"Even now, it was so lovely of her, she's become a great friend and Kai is wonderful too, everyone at Strictly, I've come back from America and I can't be more grateful for just trying to kickstart me and saying 'Matt, don't hide', I might be reserved."
