Strictly's Kym Marsh admits behind the scenes 'meltdown' as she's tipped to leave

Kym Marsh has admitted she had a 'meltdown' behind the scenes of Strictly Come Dancing last weekend, after previously revealing she'd had 'a dodgy day' on the show. Snd her confession comes as bookies make her the favourite to go this weekend.

Last Saturday, ex Hear'say star Kym and her professional partner Graziano Di Prima were hoping to bounce back from falling into the Strictly dance-off a week earlier, when they rounded off the programme's BBC 100th Birthday special with a Come Dancing themed Quickstep to Sweet classic Ballroom Blitz.

The couple even had broadcasting icon Angela Rippon introduce their performance but, unfortunately for Kym and Graziano their dance didn't make as big an impact as the veteran broadcaster's appearance. As they awaited their scores, they joined Strictly host Claudia Winkleman and that is when Kym shared that things hadn't been plain sailing heading into the live show, saying she'd had 'a dodgy day' backstage.

Kym elaborated on what happened when she and Graziano appeared on Strictly spin-off It Takes Two on Thursday night. Speaking to presenter Janette Manrara, she said: "We had so much fun, after having a day of a bit of a meltdown, I just got on there and thought, do you know what, let's just have fun? And we did, we just went out and just enjoyed ourselves."

Earlier this week, Kym said on Morning Live that Graziano left her in pain when he picked her up to celebrate as they made it through to Halloween Week. Addressing that on It Takes Two, she added: "It was a bit of a scary moment in the results show but Graziano gave me the biggest squeeze, which I didn't really appreciate because I've still got a rib injury."

Kym's 'meltdown' admission came hours before bookies William Hill made her the favourite to get the Strictly boot this weekend on odds of 6/4, just ahead of EastEnders' James Bye, who was the tip to go last week, but managed to avoid the dance-off yet again.

BetVictor also have Kym and Graziano as the hot tip to be eliminated on odds of 11/8.
