Katya Jones has responded to the news that her ex-husband Neil Jones is having a baby with Chyna Mills, to whom he recently proposed. Katya and Neil tied the knot nearly ten years ago in August 2013 after five years of dating.
The Strictly Come Dancing stars split in 2019, announcing to fans that August that they were separating after 11 years together. Despite calling time on their relationship, Katya and Neil continued to work together on the BBC show, remaining friends, The Mirror reports.
Yesterday, April 2, Neil announced that he is set to become a dad as his now-fiancée Chyna is pregnant. The couple got engaged after Neil popped the question whilst they were on a recent holiday.

In a recent interview with Hello! magazine, former Love Island star Chyna said: "After the baby news, we were on cloud nine – and now this. It still doesn't feel real."
Shedding some light on their recent news, Neil added: "I'd already planned to ask Chyna to marry me before we knew she was pregnant. Then we found out and I was like: 'Oh, this is brilliant, everything is coming together."
Sharing their happy personal news with their followers on Instagram, Neil posted a snap of him and Chyna looking all loved-up as they embraced. "Excitement is an understatement," Neil wrote, adding a smiling emoji.
Shortly after the announcement, the couple were flooded with messages of support from fans and friends. "Congratulations guys," Luca Bish wrote.
"Best news!!!!" said Oti Mabuse. "Congratulations."
Amongst those wishing Chyna and Neil well was Katya, who reposted Neil's post onto her Instagram story to show her support. "So happy for these two!" the dancer wrote.
"@mr_njonesoffiicial You deserve all the happiness."
Katya and Neil's split in 2019 was announced by the former couple through a statement posted on Instagram, which came after Katya was pictured kissing Seann Walsh, who was also in a relationship at the time. However, Katya and Neil insisted that they were not parting ways due to that.
"Hi everyone, as our fans and loyal supporters you are really important to us and so we wanted to let you know some news," they wrote. "After 11 years, we have made the mutual decision to separate."
A spokesperson for the pair denied that Katya kissing Seann was the reason for their separation. "It would be incorrect and unfair to attribute their separation to one isolated incident," they said at the time. "Many people make such a decision to separate when they realise that their relationship has become more of a friendship.
"They remain the very best of friends and will continue to dance together."
