Strictly Come Dancing's Katya Jones is showing signs of "anger and frustration" with Tony Adams - as the pair were seen 'rowing'.
The duo danced a Salsa to 'I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)' by Pitbull but the performance wasn't too well received by the judges - Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton du Beke. Shirley, usually a huge supporter of Tony's, said he'd "made too many mistakes" whilst Craig tried to put a positive spin, as he added: "You had a good go, but no it didn't work tonight. It's a shame."
As the show wrapped yesterday, the pair were seen in what appeared to be a heated conversation as hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman said their goodbyes to the audience. Now body language expert Judi James has revealed more about Tony and Katya in those moments - and how her smile appeared to be very "forced".
Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, she said: "In an odd body language moment right at the end of the show, as the other couples lined up behind Tess to face the cameras with gleaming smiles, Katya and Tony could be seen in what looked like an intense conversation, Katya with her back turned to the cameras and an assertive-looking leg splay.
"She was talking to Tony who watched her with a frown of what looked like concern. Tony responded with a mouth and a shoulder shrug before throwing his arms out in an even bigger shrug. They did finally turn to do their pose to camera but Katya’s rictus smile looked forced while Tony seemed to sigh and lick his lips in a more dour expression."
"They might have been discussing where to have dinner but forgetting to pose for the camera is rare on Strictly and it looked for all the world as though Katya might have been launching straight into some more of her tough ‘team talks’ as Tony calls them after error-filled routine," Judi added of the moment as Katya appeared to be having an intense conversation.
Following the mistake filled routine, the pair made their way up to the balcony to chat with Claudia.
"On the balcony Tony explained and apologized and it’s clear he’s giving the show his best shot," Judi added of that moment, "He said how Katya was looking back and shouting at him during the routine though and she regurgitated that state perfectly, leaning her head forward and shouting ‘Focus! Focus!’ in an alarming way. She pushed his hand away as they stood together, yelling out ‘He could do it so well’ in utter frustration, miming crying to make her point.
"Even while they were getting their judges’ feedback Katya’s jaw was jutting showing her lower teeth in an expression of anger and she was shouting ‘all week long’ at Shirley as she listed his 'One mistake after another.'"
