Strictly's Jayde Adams live in Bristol as comedian's shows rescheduled for 2023

A limited number of tickets are still available for Jayde Adams’ rescheduled shows in Bristol and elsewhere. The performances of Men, I Can Save You were moved from autumn to spring because the comedian was taking part in TV’s Strictly Come Dancing competition.

The Bristol-born stand-up comic now has two shows at Bristol Old Vic on Sunday, April 2, 2023 – a matinée at 2.30pm and one at 7.30pm. These have been rescheduled from Sunday, October 23.

This was the date Jayde was eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing, a show of which she had been a massive fan for years. She said going on Strictly was “the best thing she had ever done in her life” after she and her professional dance partner Karen Hauer lost in the dance-off with Molly Rainford in the series’ fifth week.

Men, I Can Save You is suitable for ages 16 and above. The show's description says: "Change is always hard, and what better person to lead the men selflessly by the hand into the new world than TV’s Jayde Adams.

"Multi-award winning comedian and actress, Jayde Adams’ critically-acclaimed special was released on Amazon Prime to worldwide applause, was longlisted for an Emmy and has amassed over 156 million views. Jayde stars in Sophie Willan’s BAFTA-winning TV series Alma’s Not Normal (BBC Two), the Take That movie Greatest Days and also stars in Neil Gaiman’s Good Omens (Amazon Prime). She is the co-host of the BAFTA nominated series Snackmasters and Netflix smash hit, Crazy Delicious."

Jayde also has Men, I Can Save You shows in March and April 2023 in London, Leeds, Gloucester, Birmingham, Oxford, Exeter, Brighton, Salford Quays, Aberystwyth, Pontardawe, Cardiff, York, Nottingham and Cambridge.

Tickets are available via Bristol Old Vic or Ticketmaster. If you have any queries about a previous booking, contact the Box Office team on 0117 987 7877 (Monday to Saturday 1pm to 6pm) or email tickets@bristololdvic.org.uk.
