EastEnders star James Bye insists no one is safe on Strictly Come Dancing - after last week's shock dance-off.
Radio DJ Richie Anderson found himself booted from the BBC One Latin and ballroom competition during last weekend's show, after facing off against singer Fleur East in the dreaded dance-off.
With three votes to one, Richie was sent home - but the shock of the dance-off has sent panic through the whole cast and everyone is upping their game.
Last week, James and his professional partner Amy Dowden danced a Guardians of the Galaxy inspired routine dressed as Star Lord and Gamora and received a total of 22 points out of 40.
Speaking about the dance-off, James described it as a big shock.
Chatting exclusively to The Mirror at the National Television Awards, he said: "I'm just taking it day by day. It was a shock, Richie and Fleur are both incredible people and incredible dancers. You can't count your chickens.
"You just have to be in the moment and try and enjoy it as much as you can and best as possible. Just take it from."
James is busy filming EastEnders whilst doing long rehearsals for Strictly. He also has a young family and shares three kids with his wife Victoria, with James juggling his work and family life expertly.
"It's a big show. You go into it and it's a commitment and it's great fun," he said of his time on the show.
It comes after James revealed he has been getting tips from last year's Strictly winner - and EastEnders co-star - Rose Ayling-Ellis, who triumphed on the show last year with her pro partner Giovanni Pernice.
He said: "I’ve had a really busy week on set every day so we’ve been trying to find time in the gaps.
"Amy has had to come back over to EastEnders a few days this week. We’ve been practising in between scenes when we can. We’ve practised in the green room in front of the cast. Rose is like a ray of sunshine."
He added: "Her advice has been to take everything in. Even though she was there until the end of Strictly she said it went so quickly – so she told me to make sure I enjoy every moment and don’t waste time."
