Strictly's Helen Skelton teases new show with Gorka Marquez

Strictly's Helen Skelton has teased a potential spin-off show she'd like to make called 'Strictly Come Farming' with her professional dance partner, Gorka Marquez.

The Winter On The Farm presenter appeared on ITV's Lorraine today, Thursday, December 1 ahead of Saturday night's quarter finals.

Helen and Gorka bagged a place in the quarter finals of the BBC dance competition last week when they sailed through after showing off her impressive Salsa.

The pair are preparing to perform the couple's choice dance this weekend. And Strictly isn't the only exciting career move going on in Helen's life as she revealed Winter On The Farm will be back on our screens next week.

The single mother of three told show host Lorraine that she will be juggling the two shows side by side as she admitted "it will be dancing in the day and farming at night."

She spoke of her excitement at getting back in to her wellies. Helen said: "Please, bring back my wellies!

"I've been telling Gorka all the time, if I could do this in wellies, it would be so much easier, you get much more hip action when you have a flat foot.

"The farm is just a home from home and it's a family. My kids are happy there, my family come - it's chaos in the perfect way.

"'It's not uncommon for us to be doing a link and in my ear someone will go, 'goat out behind you, can you get it?'.

"I'm really looking forward to being on the farm next week. It's one of those shows that people really get involved with, it's feel-good, it's warm, festive and a celebration of rural life, a reflection of what everyone's had to deal with this year."

She added: "Gorka has joked all year that he wants to do Strictly Come Farming and I keep saying be careful what you wish for mate, It will be get my own back time!"
