Helen Skelton is said to be top of Celebs Go Dating producers' hit list for the new series, with them ready to table a big money offer for her to do the show after her Strictly Come Dancing success.
The final star to be confirmed for Strictly last year, Helen signed up to head into the BBC ballroom, months after her split from Richie Myler, with the couple's relationship coming to an abrupt end not long after the birth of their youngest child. A lot was made about Helen's marriage heartache during her time on Strictly, with pro partner Gorka Marquez eluding to it in an empowering tribute to Helen as cameras rolled and her Couple's Choice routine to Mein Herr from Cabaret being seen by fans as her 'revenge' dance.
Helen made it all the way to the Strictly final in December, being beaten by Hamza Yassin, but then earned bragging rights on the show's annual live tour when she and new partner Kai Widdrington won the trophy for topping the most audience votes at arenas around the country.
As soon as Strictly finished, former Blue Peter presenter Helen was reported to be lined up as a future host of famous BBC programme Countryfile, but, if speculation is to be believed it could be Celebs Go Dating that gives her her next TV job.
Speaking to The Sun, a source said: "Helen has already proved she is great on TV and is really interesting to watch. The public really felt of her after her split and bosses everyone would love to see her dating journey."
The insider added: "They are willing to offer her big bucks to take part, but it looks like Helen really isn’t interest in sharing that part of her life. It would take a lot to change her mind"
THe reports linking HElen to a stint in cElebs Go Dating, which has featured the likes of Ulrika Jonsson, Gemma Collins, Joey Essex and Gary Lucy in the past, comes as she's been romantically linked to Strictly Come Dancing pro Vito Coppola.
Vioro, who made it to the final alongside Fleur East, is said to have grown close to Helen on the Strictly tour, with insiders claiming they spent a 'lot of time together one-on-one."
