Strictly Come Dancing stars Helen Skelton and Hamza Yassin are in line to land six-figure presenting deals to keep them at the BBC after tonight’s final, according to reports.
It is said that BBC are willing to “splash the cash” in a bid to keep the pair for themselves and want to stop the pair from jumping ship to rival channels after their success.
Since joining the dance competition Helen and Hamza have both been favourites to lift the Glitterball trophy. The pair are set to go head-to-head alongside Molly Rainford and Fleur East in tonight’s grand final.

A source told The Sun: “Helen and Hamza are well thought of at the BBC and the executives are delighted at how the show has boosted their profiles.
“They’ve wanted some sensational stars to emerge in Strictly this year, which is a ‘full’ show for the first time since it was scaled back by coronavirus two years ago.
“Viewers seem to have thrown their support behind Helen and Hamza in a way few other finalists have enjoyed. The Beeb are keen to build on that and make sure they stay with the BBC, which is where they’ve both developed their careers so far.”
The insider added: “They are both highly valued, even though their careers are at very different stages. She’s a well-known face on our screens while he is a little-known presenter at this stage.”

It will be a busy night for the four finalists tonight as the stars will be performing a total of three routines each during the final. The three dances that each couple needs to perform are broken down into categories.
The categories are judges' picks, the couple's personal favourite, and a show dance. Florence and the Machine will be performing and the cast of 2022 will return for one more epic routine.
The Strictly Come Dancing 2022 final will take place tonight at 7.05pm on BBC One and it's an extra-long show this weekend at two hours and 30 minutes long.
