Strictly's Hamza Yassin reveals reason why he's single and struggling to find love

Hamza Yassin is wowing Strictly fans with his impressive dance moves, but has revealed he's struggling to find love in his personal life.

The TV presenter, 32, has been lighting up the dance floor and getting rave reviews from the hit BBC show's judges. But despite winning the hearts of the public on-screen, off it he's revealed he's struggling to find a partner.

The star opened up on how his lives in such a remote area that his closest shopping town is a whopping two-and-a-half hours away.

And he admits living so remotely and needing to constantly travel for work throws a big spanner into the works when it comes to finding love.

Speaking to The Guardian, he said: "My job doesn't really allow for a relationship. How can you sustain a relationship, like: 'I’m sending you a text message from a satellite phone, because I’m in the Arctic for two months'.

"It’s more of a job kind of problem, rather than a place, though the place definitely adds to it."

And he joked if he was to join a dating app he'd have to "set the net at 150 miles" before confessing he does feel isolated at least once a year when he has a "down day".

In recent weeks, fans of Strictly have been discussing the on-screen chemistry Hamza shares with dance partner Jowita Pryzstal. In a recent Instagram post, Hamza labelled the professional dancer his "queen".

He gushed: "Jowita; you are a magnificent, fearless strong woman and all the praise should really be directed at you. You are one of a kind."

He also recently revealed many fans had sent messages to him privately begging him for a date.

The Countryfile cameraman admitted he has been bombarded with saucy proposals from viewers, saying: "I have been getting loads of messages. Let’s just say I’m getting people declaring their love for me."

He continued: "It’s pretty weird as all you hear is, ‘We love you, Hamza!’ It’s kind of ­crazy. I think it’s amazing that people are supportive – it’s fantastic – but I’m not used to it."
