Strictly Come Dancing 2022 stars Fleur East and Molly Rainford have jetted off on a joint holiday for some much needed relaxation after the show ended.
The pair both reached the finale of the BBC dancing show, but both missed out on lifting the Glitterball trophy. CBeebies presenter Hamza Yassin pipped both of them to be crowned the winner for this year's Strictly.
Fleur, 35, and Molly, 22, haven't let it dampen their spirits too much, as the pair looked happy and carefree as they posed on on a beach in Barbados.
The firm friends struck up a friendship whilst competing on the show, and have now jetted off on their first joint holiday.
Sharing a snap of the friends to her Instagram, Fleur wrote: " From the ballroom to the beach."
In the picture, Fleur can be seen in a black patterned bikini stood next to Molly in a bright yellow and blue bikini. In a second snap, the pair are seen in a tight embrace behind the scenes at Strictly when the competition reached the Blackpool Tower.
Friends from the Strictly crew have rushed in to praise the pair for their friendship. Fellow Strictly dancer Dianne Buswell commented: " Awwww cute"
Fellow Strictly contestant Will Mellor added: "Beautiful ladies!!!"
Strictly's Tyler West added emojis alongside: "The girls".
Strictly professional Neil Jones teased: "Oh ok where was our invite".
Fans also shared their praise, with one writing: "Aww, love that you’re on hols together after giving us so much joy on Strictly x".
Another added: "I love the friendship that has blossomed from strictly."
"Awww, the ballroom belles!!" said another.
The holiday comes as former X Factor star Fleur East has announced she is returning to music, and will release her first single in two years. Her brand new single, Count The Ways, will be released in January 2023.
The new single comes six years after Fleur was dropped from Simon Cowell's label Syco in 2017, three years after her X Factor appearance, and said she felt like she had been "put on the shelf" by record bosses.
"I kind of asked to be let go," she said previously. "It was a relief, to be honest."
Now, she is returning with her “more mature” single Count The Ways.
She explained: " After being on Strictly every weekend, the buzz of performing came back. The last body of work I released was my album Fearless.
"It was shortly after my dad passed away and just at the time that the pandemic came into our lives, and everyone went into lockdown, so I had to cancel my tour, I had to cancel all my promo, I had to cancel everything. It was such a shame that it was released at that time.
"Since then, and since losing my dad, I’m just finding my stride again and getting back into music.
"Although I do presenting, fitness, and lots of other different things, music is my number one love."
