Ellie Taylor took a cheeky swipe at the Strictly Come Dancing judges, during her guest appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show on Saturday night.
Stand up comedian Ted Lasso star Ellie hadn't long been seen on Strictly's latest live show over on BBC One, when she sat on the couch of the famous ITV chat show, which was pre-recorded earlier this week. Without wanting to insult Ellie, host and Masked Singer panellist Jonathan asked her if she was 'surprised she's still in it,' to which Ellie first retorted: "How rude!" before telling him: "I put up to week three in my diary. I am absolutely astounded and still in at week eight and I can almost see Blackpool. I can smell the fish and chips!"
Jonathan then asked Ellie how she was taking the Strictly judges' criticism, to which she replied: "No one wants to get criticism anyway, let alone in front of 10 million people when you're dressed as shepherdess after doing the Viennese Waltz for instance."

She added: "I have suggested to producers that we get rid of the judges, get rid of the eliminations; after 13 weeks of learning to dance we all get a certificate. I think that's what we should do."
Ellie's comments about Strictly and the judges came after they 'welcomed her back' to the competition during Saturday night's live show, after she scored just 22 out of 40 alongside Johannes Radebe for their rumba last week. Things went much better for the couple this weekend, with them getting a total of 31.
Later in the show Ellie spoke about how her four-year-old daughter was adjusting to her being on Strictly, saying: "She’s a bit confused by that. She gets sad that Johannes and I don’t finish our dances with a kiss. And she asked me the other day, I’ve started sleeping in a different bedroom so she doesn’t wake me up in the middle of the night, and she said to me, ‘Is Johannes up there, do you sleep with Johannes every night?’ And I was saying, ‘No he’s at his own house, darling.’”
