Strictly Come Dancing professional Dianne Buswell has confirmed that she and YouTube star Joe Sugg are very much together after the pair were plagued by split rumours.
The couple, who met when they were paired up as dance partners on the BBC show in 2018, sparked speculation from fans they had split after Dianne, 33, headed out to Australia without Joe, 31, writes The Mirror.
Dianne, who has been in a relationship with Joe for four years, has now given clarity on the situation and put the rumours to bed, insisting they are together and very happy.
She said: “It makes me laugh that people think I wouldn't go and see my family without Joe, it blows my mind.
“He knows I don't live anywhere near my family, so if there is any chance I can go to see them… he doesn't have to come with me everywhere.”
Opening up about the rumours, Dianne told The Sun that it "comes from a good place" but that she goes home to see her family and doesn't worry about what's being said.
She said: “I try not to look because it's very rare I get to see my family so I want to go and make the most of it and that's what I did.”
Dianne also said it would be “great” if she and Joe took their relationship to the next level and got engaged.
She admitted: “We haven’t really spoken about it, so if it happens, great. If not, we’re happy with how things are going.”
This week, the professional dancer released her brand new book 'Move Yourself Happy', where she bravely opened up about her previous battle with eating disorders.
She said: “I got to the point where I would do anything I could to lose weight. I tried lots of diets, I would skip meals or make myself sick.
“That was something I definitely wanted to include because I think that, for a lot of people, to know that someone like me has overcome those struggles gives them hope.
“A lot of people going through stuff like this think there’s no coming out of it and there is a long road. But it’s important to know your body can recover.
“It’s not going to be like that forever if you don’t want it to be.
“For me, it’s made me really aware of my body. It’s made me look more into nutrition, into movement – and that has helped with this book, which is about finding a way to bring joyful movement into your life.”
