Strictly Come Dancing star Craig Revel Horwood told the audience to 'shut up' as they booed him over a savage remark.
Craig - dressed as Morticia Addams for the Halloween special - was giving his verdict on Molly Rainford and Carlos Gu's Argentine Tango to Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God) by Kate Bush. Molly found herself in the dance-off last week, luckily avoiding an early exit from the show as comedienne Jayde Adams went home instead.
Craig is known as the no nonsense judge - but that seemed even more apparent tonight, as viewers and the audience fumed over his comments and scoring and those in the studio let their feelings known as they booed the judge.
As he gave his verdict on Molly and Carlos' tango, he said: "Well everything in this dance is a reaction to the leader. I felt like you were dancing two different dances, you weren't following," as the boos rumbled on.
"It's true, it was really really ugly, you need to make that a lot more beautiful." The boos intensified before Craig said: "Oh please, shut up ... Actually I love it, continue. I'm finished," as Motsi fumed over his comments.
Angry fans took to Twitter to fume over Craig's harsh criticisms.
" #Strictly okay Craig I know your a dressed up as morticia adams but doesn't mean you actually have to be bitchy to people," one wrote, as another added: "Craig’s in one of those moods I see #strictly."
A third penned: "how is craig going to give molly a lower score than tony? craig go and take a long hard look at yourself. #strictly."
However, other fans praised Craig's comments and scoring, insisting he was the best judge.
"Craig is the only decent judge. #Strictly," one shared, with another adding: "I always trust Craig’s scoring over Motsi, Shirley and Anton because those 3 always overmark their faves. #Strictly."
A third viewer wrote: "These scores are just all over the place. Craig is the only honest scoring judge, sorry to anyone who disagrees."
