Claudia Winkleman took a very public dig at King Charles III's Coronation on her radio show on Saturday, dubbing it 'Tory Christmas,' after her guest, Jack Whitehall had remarked that his dad would love it because it was 'Tory Glastonbury.'
The eyes of the country and many others across the world fell on Westminster Abbey at the new monarch was crowned, along with his Queen Camilla. After months and months of build up, following the death of Charles' mother, the late and great Queen Elizabeth II, TV coverage of his historic Coronation started very early on Saturday, as guests, including Ant and Dec, took their seats in the Abbey well before the service got going at around 11am.
King Charles' Coronation became a hot topic on Claudia's weekly BBC Radio 2 show, when she was joined by comedian Jack. Giving his take on things, he said: "Jack said about his dad, Michael: "Obviously for him he's really excited as well because The Coronation is like Tory Glastonbury, it's this huge event, I think he's excited" with Claudia rhen interrupting to quip "Tory Christmas."

The Traitors and Strictly host Claudia actually has a link to the Royal Family, with her half sister Sophie, married to Lord Freddie Windsor, son of the Queen's first cousin Prince Michael of Kent.
Her 'Tory Christmas' comment quickly became a big talking point online and on some TV channels on Saturday, with Talk TV guest Andre Walker blasting: "If you don't like the British constitution, don't work for the British Broadcasting Corporation. The reality is, Prince Charles is not a Tory."
However, she did find support for her joke from others, with one fan branding it 'spectacular' and another calling it 'perfection.'
