The EastEnders actress from Manchester was the first deaf contestant on the BBC dance show and fans praised the series for being the most diverse Strictly has ever seen.
The popular pair moved the nation to tears when they included a powerful 10 second silence to their routine to Symphony by Clean Bandit featuring Zara Larsson.

Pro dancer Giovanni has now made fans cry with a new addition to his tattoo collection with a tribute to their shared victory.
He shared a snap on his Instagram Stories of the inking which features the famous Glitterball trophy complete with the date the pair won the series.
The sparkling Glitterball has the letters SCD in the middle and December 18 2021 in numerical form.
And it was posted with a soundtrack of We Are the Champions by Queen as he tagged in Rose.
Delighted fans responded with love hearts and crying emojis.
rose_aylingellis_fan shared the image with the words: "Beautiful tribute @rose.a.e @giovannipernice."

The new tattoo comes as Rose and Giovanni reunite on the Strictly Come Dancing live tour.
As the tour kicked off, Rose took to her Instagram to showcase one of the stunning outfits she gets to wear.
Wearing a shimmering champagne gold catsuit she wrote: “I have fallen in love with this outfit so much!”
