Strictly fans react to spoiler for week 7 branding decision 'ridiculous'

Strictly Come Dancing fans have hit out after a spoiler for week seven of the popular ballroom and Latin dance show was posted online.

The Bonfire Night episode was as explosive as ever and saw Hamza Yassin topping the leaderboard with an impressive 38 points from the judges. However, on the other end of things was Tony Adams who scored a mediocre 31.

With the results show filmed on Saturday night and due to air the following day, people were speculating as to who would end up getting the boot this week.

However, as reported by Chronicle live, that didn't last long with the result was posted at 4am this morning, leaving night owls and early risers alike gobsmacked.

Without spoiling it for you, here are just some of the reactions on Twitter.

One user branded it “ridiculous” that Tony Adams is still in the competition saying: “Too many good dancers are going so that Tony can stay in,” while another simply said: “Gutted!”

A third complained: “Noooo. How is Tony still here?”

A fourth said: “The public assassination of female contestants continues. Always undervoting good female dancers. Fleur will be back in the bottom next week no doubt. Happy for Ellie T!”

"Finally, they were consistently over marked, even when the Judges said this is the worst dance they ever did, still got an 8. Correct decision, the competition is really getting tough now, some great dancing last night," added a fifth.

Many were relieved that Ellie Taylor had been saved - despite her being ninth on the leaderboard, with a user saying: "Thrilled Ellie T is safe. All the votes paid off, can’t wait to see her reaction tomorrow :)."

The week seven results will air tonight, Sunday 6 November, at 7:15pm on BBC One
