Ellie Taylor is one of the 15 celebrities taking to the dancefloor for this year's series of Strictly Come Dancing, and she'll be hoping to lift the Glitterball Trophy at the end of the glitzy BBC show with the help of professional dance partner Johannes Radebe.
The model-turned-comedian will no doubt also have the full support of her three-year-old daughter Valentina and her husband Phil Black as she prepares to dance the Paso Doble with Johannes this weekend, despite previously making jokes about the so-called "Strictly curse" during a viral clip from BBC Two's satirical show, The Mash Report, four years ago.
The "curse" is often blamed for the collapse of stars' relationships after they appear on the show, but Ellie has since insisted that she doesn't believe in it herself.
Speaking to Ranvir Singh, who was hit with romance rumours when she was partnered with Giovanni Pernice two years ago, Ellie said: "It's a wild thing to think isn't it but The Mash Report is a satirical show, you know it's written by writers and I play a character."
The comedian's husband Phil is one of CNN's top journalists and has covered some of the biggest stories of our time, from the Boxing Day Tsunami in 2004 to the search for Madeline McCann and the Princess Diana inquest.
He joined CNN International in 2007 and previously served as the Russia correspondent before being redeployed to London, and has been at the front of the action during the Russian conflict with Ukraine.
Meanwhile, the Strictly curse clip isn't the only video featuring Ellie to go viral. She also found her joke about women telling 'everyone to f**k off' being shared around the internet by celebrities, earning herself fans in the form of Madonna and Jennifer Aniston.
The clip, which was also taken from The Mash Report, has been viewed over 120 million times, and the comedian said she could understand why people might resonate with the sentiment of the video.
Speaking to Kate Thornton on White Wine Question Time, she explained: "It just seems to resonate. It went out a few years ago around the time of International Women's Day. So it was perfectly timed.
"It flares up every so often, and someone else will repost it. It had done quite well, then Madonna reposted it and then Jennifer Aniston most recently, so I love it.
"Some people are like: 'So Madonna and Jennifer Aniston are a fan of yours?' I'm like: 'They posted a video. They've no idea who I am. But okay, let's say that. Yeah, they're fans of me. We'll go with that, sure!'"
Despite counting showbiz superstars among her biggest fans, Ellie insists she's still just a normal person who has to come home from work and do the housework - including putting the bins out and cleaning her bathroom.
She noted: "It feels quite odd that you can live both lives, that Madonna put something up on you and then also, you're the lady who has to clean the bathrooms. It's a bit odd. It's a really odd dichotomy to get your head around."
