Strictly Come Dancing star Helen Skelton has been putting her best foot forward on the dancefloor, growing in confidence each week.
The BBC One show came at a difficult time for the Countryfile presenter, who was still reeling from the collapse of her eight-year marriage to Leeds Rhinos star Richie Myler.
Richie left the family home in April when their youngest child was just four months old, with Helen announcing the sad news online.
In a short statement, Helen, 39, said: "Very sad to say that Richie and I are no longer a couple. He has left the family home.
"We will be doing our best to co parent our small children."
Since then it has emerged that rugby star Richie, 32, has moved on with Stephanie Thirkill, the daughter of Rhinos president Andrew Thirkill.
Furthermore, Stephanie, 32, is pregnant with their first child.
Helen's protective Strictly partner Gorka Marquez made a rallying speech about the TV star after their performance, urging her to 'believe in herself' as the seemingly mortified star hid behind him.
He said: "I know you've been having a difficult time, and I know you've been made to feel like you're not beautiful or good enough or anything.
"But if you don't believe in yourself... I believe in you. Everybody here believes in you, your family believes in you."
"It doesn't matter how many times I say it or the judges say it, or anyone says it, it's only you that can make the change and the one who believes in you.
"You are an amazing woman, very inspirational, an amazing mum and an incredible dancer so believe in you please."
But Helen doesn't feel sorry for herself - and she doesn't want anyone else to either.
Since the split, she and her three children have moved to her parents' farm in Cumbria, where she is making the most of no longer having to life the 'transient' life of Rugby.
And the last thing she considers herself to be is a victim.
"I don't see myself as a victim, no, because I mean, look…" she told The Telegraph.
"There are a lot of people who have been in my situation who haven't been given the opportunities that I've got.
"Don’t get me wrong, I have my days when I'm p***ed off. But equally, in this job, you're in a lot of people's lives, which gives you a phenomenal amount of perspective."
Insisting that she is 'owning' Strictly and her current experiences, Helen confirmed that she's got no intention of looking for anyone new right now.
She added: "Not only is my glass half full, but I've actually got a glass. I've got loads to be thankful for. I'm not going to worry about the one thing I haven't got."
Strictly Come Dancing continues tonight at 6.50pm on BBC One.
