Strictly Come Dancing stars post backstage pics ahead of Glasgow Hydro show

The cast of Strictly Come Dancing have arrived for the live tour in Glasgow for their performances at the OVO Hydro.

The cast have arrived for their first show in Glasgow tonight, and have shared lots of exciting behind the scenes snaps before going on stage.

After arriving at the OVO Hydro, BBC Dragon's Den star Sara Davies shared a video of the arena stating: "This has to be the most amazing arena we've performed in... honestly I felt a bit overwhelmed standing on the stage.

"We're gonna have the best few days in Scotland."

Strictly's It Takes Two host Janette Manrana also shared a snap to Instagram of a clock backstage that says "time to meet the best fans in the world" with Scotland the Brave added to the post.

Strictly runner-up and Bake Off star John Whaite posed in a sparkly blue shirt as he posted a selfie to his Instagram stories, as he held onto a can of coke and a muffin.

The Wanted's Max George shared a sweet selfie alongside Tilly Ramsay and EastEnder's Maisie Smith as they all looked glam before taking to the stage.

Max excitedly captioned the photo: "Glasgow!!!!"

Max appeared in season 18 of Strictly alongside Maisie Smith, but unfortunately left the show after 4 weeks in 2020.

Maisie just lost out on taking home the Glitterball trophy with Gorka Márquez, as they were runners up to Bill Bailey and Oti Mabuse.

The EastEnders actress shared a selfie on Instagram as she looked all dolled up in a gold sparkly dress and black smoky eye make-up before taking to the stage in Glasgow tonight.

The tour will be in Glasgow from today, February 5, until Monday, February 7 with both afternoon and evening performances today and Sunday.
