Strictly Come Dancing star James Bye and his wife Victoria Bye have welcomed their fourth child and said it was a "long labour" with "lots of ups and downs". James appeared on Strictly Come Dancing in 2022 when he was partnered with Welsh dancing professional Amy Dowden.
James and Victoria announced they were having their fourth baby in January 2023. At the time they told their fans about the challenges they faced due to Victoria having endometriosis and how they never expected to be able to have another baby.
Now they have announced Victoria has given birth to a baby boy, whose name has not been revealed. Posting a lengthy joint caption on Instagram James and Victoria shared pictures of their new baby and detailed how the birth went.
They said in the post which was penned by the new mum: "Oh baby... He's here... After a long induction, a long labour, lots of ups & downs & all the drama along the way...our hearts are near to bursting with the arrival of our precious baby boy..."
"I just can't believe I have him, here, in my arms, safely home and ours to keep for always. It still hasn't sunk in... I'm definitely still in shock and I still can't believe he's mine. It's been a long old journey to get him...The boys are all besotted, James is in love"
