Strictly Come Dancing spoiler leak has fans angry at 'unfair' result

BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans have hit out at the judges' scores after a leaked spoiler found a high-scoring couple in danger of elimination. Viewers have reacted angrily after a spoiler following Saturday's show revealed one of the series' highest-scoring couples in danger of crashing out of the competition.

Saturday’s show left some fans perplexed with judge Craig Revel-Horwood dishing out a number of five scores despite being only a week away from the quarter final. Consistent high scorers Hamza and Jowita had reason to celebrate once again but there were worrying scores for both Ellie Taylor and Helen Skelton who received just five from Craig.

There was a new couple at the top of the leaderboard at the end of the night with Will and Nancy getting a near-perfect score of 39 out of 40 while Ellie and Johannes were left hoping the public would back them again after finishing on just 25 and Molly Rainford was hoping 35 out of 40 would be enough to keep her from being in the dance-off for a fourth time.

It took just a few hours after credits rolled for this week’s spoiler to leak and when it did the identity of the bottom two couples did not go down well, Chronicle Live reports. Fans hit out at their fellow voters for allowing it to happen. On seeing one of the couples in danger one irate fan tweeted: "I don’t understand why that person was in the dance off this week, it was a brilliant dance. Definitely not deserved,” while a second said: "Absolutely gutted as they were my favourites." One viewer said: "So angry at the #StrictlySpoiler" and yet another added: "The #StrictlySpoiler is almost worse than Matt winning I’m a Celeb. Devastated. My two faves...."
