Helen Skelton took to Instagram in tears in the aftermath of this weekend's Strictly Come Dancing results show, despite making it through to another week on the show.
Ex Blue Peter star Helen has had an emotional time of things on Strictly so far; fleeing rehearsals through a fire exit before the first live show as the pressure got to her, before making a tearful return after some encouragement from Gorka. Since then, Gorka and the Strictly judges have urged Helen to have more confidence in herself and her abilities, with Gorka speaking out on Saturday, October 15's live show to tell Helen how "amazing" she was and that she was the one who needed to believe that, days after it was reported that ex husband Richie Myler was expecting a baby with his new girlfriend.
Helen and Gorka had quite a night in the ballroom for the Strictly BBC 100th Birthday special, as the 39-year-old went back to her TV roots, by dancing a Charleston to the Blue Peter theme. Helen looked like she was having a ball on the dancefloor and her enthusiasm was rewarded, as she and Gorka finished joint top of the leaderboard, with a series high score of 35 out of 40.
