Strictly Come Dancing judge Anton du Beke has revealed he thought the famous group dance was "awful".
The star who served as a professional dancer on the programme before making the move to the judging panel has seen pretty much everything on the show but admits that one dance never impresses.
Anton, 56, who recently spoke out about the issue with the results being leaked each week appeared on Strictly: It Takes Two alongside former Strictly star, Janette Manrara.
However, when Janette asked if Anton had spotted any celebs who had potential during the first episode, he refused to hold back.
"No, not really, no, the launch show group number is pretty often awful," he said before adding: "They normally wander about like 'I'm sorry, I know I'm supposed to be doing something at this point but I can't quite remember what it is'.
"No, it was alright, it wasn't too bad, there were one or two there and you went 'Oh, he's got enthusiasm' but nothing that made you go, 'what we saw this weekend, that was so brilliant'."
Anton explained that celebrities often don't know what to do during "normal" weeks after a themed dance.
Despite several celebs showing "tremendous" skills, he believes it will be "the norm" to see talented stars in the dance-off every week.
He explained: "The show doesn't work without the audience, it makes the show what it is, and that's what makes it interesting – the fifth judge, everybody at home.
"Then we get this mixed up leaderboard which makes it really interesting and then we get these situations like the Anne Widdecombe's and the people at the bottom, who get a chance to stay in week after week and it makes it interesting.
"I think from this point on, we'll have that leaderboard every week."
Despite Anton hitting out about the results being leaked each week, the official Strictly 'super leaker' opened up to the Mirror about how he makes the show "more bearable".
Dave Thorp told us: "Spoilers are not a new thing, you see spoilers for TV shows and films, pretty much anything, all the time, on that note, there are quite a lot of people that come to the website that do [still] watch the results show.
"I've had some comments from people that say knowing the results in advance actually makes the results show a bit more bearable and less anxiety-inducing."
