Strictly Come Dancing fans have been left furious by this week's result and are blaming 'the biggest shock' of the series so far on 'inconsistent' scoring from the judges, as Tyler West went home after landing in the bottom two alongside Molly Rainford. And others have accused Shirley Ballas of making the 'wrong call' as she had the casting vote.
There was a lot of excitement in the air on Saturday night as Strictly returned to Blackpool for the first time in three years. After a electric and energetic opening, which saw pro Nikita Kuzmin dance with Motsi Mabuse, all eight of the remaining couples danced their hearts out in the iconic Tower Ballroom.
The night belonged to belle of the ball, Fleur East, who earned the first perfect score of the series, getting 40/40 for her superb Couple's Choice routine to a Destiny's Child megamix. That score sent Fleur and pro partner Vito Coppola straight to the top of the leaderboard, with Helen Skelton and Gorka Marquez just behind them, after they got a series best score of 39.

The main problem with Saturday night's standings was the fact that three couples - Will and Nancy, Molly and Carlos and Tyler and Dianne were tied on the same score, meaning there was a higher probability of one of them dropping into the dance-off, despite all scoring an impressive 35 out of 40.
Molly and Carlos were the first couple to find out they were in the bottom two, before Tyler and Dianne's fate was revealed. After both couples danced again, Craig and Motsi opted to keep CBBC star Molly and world champion dancer Carlos in, with Anton picking Tyler, meaning head judge Shirley Ballas had the deciding vote, with her keeping Molly in.
And, the fact that Ellie Taylor, who finished bottom on Saturday, wasn't even in danger, left plenty of viewers frustrated.
Blaming the scoring, one viewer headed straight to Twitter to post: "i dont understand how you can give molly, will and tyler the SAME scores when the comments were that different." A second reacted: "I’ve had enough - strictly judges keep giving high scores to utter CR*P," with a third tweeting: "So bored of #Strictly you can be the worst dancer and get high scores.."
