As October comes to a close, attentions have started to turn to Christmas. Much like in previous years, the BBC has confirmed that a Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special will air over the festive period.
Regarding the special, a statement from BBC Shows & Tours reads: "Marking the end of the latest incredible series of sparkles and show-stopping moments, Strictly Come Dancing returns with a special one-off programme on Christmas Day, recording in advance on Wednesday 7 December. This year six new celebrities will take to the floor and compete to become the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas champion 2022."
Whilst the identities of the new celebrities taking part remains anonymous, the BBC has shared how you can get tickets to be in the audience for the recording of the special episode. Here's everything you need to know.

As with any other episode of Strictly, fans are expected to enter into a draw to secure tickets to be in the audience. The official BBC Shows & Tours website confirms that all tickets are drawn at random, in a bid to make it fair for everyone. As mentioned, recording of the Strictly 2022 Christmas Special will take place on Wednesday, December 7 at Elstree Film Studios.
The site adds that there are limited tickets available and if you have already reserved tickets to be in the audience for another Strictly 2022 show, you will not be eligible to apply for the Christmas Special. You are also only permitted to use the tickets if you are the ticket holder. For more information and to apply for tickets, see here.
Strictly Come Dancing's latest series continues on BBC One on Saturday, November 5 at 7pm
