Motorists are facing potential delays until the start of May due to a road closure in place along the A465.
A section of the route is being closed westbound between 8pm and 6am so night time work can be carried out and traffic is being diverted during those times. Neath Port Talbot Council, in a statement, said: “Please be advised SWTRA (South Wales Trunk Road Agent) will be carrying out night time bridge decking works which commenced on Monday (April 25). This means there will be a full closure of the A465 westbound with the alternate route via the B4242 between Cwmgwrach and Resolven between 8pm and 6am. There will also be a lane closure along the route during the day and work should be complete on the night of Tuesday, May 3.”
