A South Down councillor is calling for an out-of-hours GP servivce to be re-opened amid mounting concerns over Strep A.
Henry Reilly says it is a “matter of urgency” that the facility, in Kilkeel, Co Down, is re-opened to help parents “sick with worry”.
The call comes in the wake of the death of five-year-old Stella-Lily McCorkindale who passed away after contracting the bacterial infection.
