This August has been a month where we have had to keep cool most days, as we battled one of the warmest summers on record. It has meant many days have been a headscratcher on what to wear.
We have been starting to wonder if it really is still that warm out, or if you need to take a raincoat just in case of a downpour. One thing is for sure, the fashionistas of Nottingham have managed to pull off keeping and looking cool this August.
Whilst we don't claim to rival the likes of London, Paris and Milan, we are a city with a strong fashion scene. We have a university that is highly-regarded for fashion as well as a thriving shopping scene. Areas like Hockley have seen a boom in vintage stores in recent years, catering for all sorts of fashion lovers.

She described her style as comfortable, dopamine dressing and bright colours. Felicity said: “I would wear something more extravagant with more bright colours if I wasn't heading to work.” She gets her style inspiration from people she follows on Instagram including lovers of bright colours influencers Felicity Hayward and Ruby Rare.
