Street food faves Grub are to launch a new food festival event in Wythenshawe. Grub Carnival will happen once a month, at various locations, with the first bash happening on Saturday, July 23.
It will feature a host of the city’s very best street food traders, along with pop-up bars from some of the region’s best breweries too. The events are intended to be inclusive, family friendly and hope to become a focal point for the local communities too.
The location for the festival will be the plaza outside the former Wythenshawe indoor market. Confirmed among the food traders so far are Desert Island Dumplings, Rad Burger, Il Forno, The Neighbourhood Coop, Thief Street Grill & Waffle and The Chaat Walas.
