By now, you’re likely aware that everyone is in love with Stray, an adorable puzzle platformer where you play as a cat. It’s pretty darn good. Some might say goodest, even — enough swap out the feline protagonist with pop culture references and real-world kitty companions.
Yes, it’s happening. Stray already has a healthy modding scene, as with any solid PC port. However, what’s setting mods apart with this game is many people are creating in-game models based on their actual cats. Nexusmods has skins for tabbies, calicos, and even flame point siamese kitties. It’s absorbable beyond all comprehension.
Naturally, there are also absolutely unhinged creations. Garfield is a no-brainer, but nothing can prepare you for CJ from GTA San Andreas. Check out what I mean below.
