“I am hoping this is going to be a big one because covid has knocked everything and I am hoping this will be a good day. The last one we had, we had 120 on the day.”

There will raffles, things for children to do and McHargs bakery is sponsoring the event again where the baked goodies will be provided such scones and shells for the strawberry tarts that will be made up for the day.

The event is always well supported by local businesses as Janett added: “I also get a lot of help from local businesses in Paisley, we have done quite well over the years. So, I am really hoping it will be a big one again.”

The event has raised thousands for the hospice Accord.

Tickets can be purchased at the door and cost £4.
