Stranger Things' Joseph Quinn was in tears after a fan's heartfelt tribute.
The 29-year-old actor has skyrocketed to stardom with his portrayal of Eddie Munson in season four of the hit Netflix show. Joseph's charismatic performance has won acclaim from critics and he made his first ever Comic Con appearance at Olympia London over the weekend.
He conducted a Q&A and struggled to fight back the tears after a member of the audience issued an emotional message. The fan said: "Hi, mine's not really a question, it's more an extension of gratitude really.

"I'm sure a lot of us have heard what happened yesterday, whether it's true or not, about how you were treated. I won't really comment on it, I just wanted to say, thank you from all of us - we're really grateful your sharing the time.
She added: "Thank you for signing our things, spending time with us and making our summer. I think we've all connected with Eddie for one reason or another."
Joseph was in tears after the message as he joked: "Ah why did you do that. He added: "That's very kind of you, thank you for your kind words."
An eyewitness account claimed members of staff had prevented Joseph from interacting with fans. They added: "The day before, Comic-Con staff weren't letting him interact with fans, sign autographs or do anything - they were treating him like a child.
"So when the girl next to me stood up and thanked him he got overwhelmed. In that moment I think he saw the amount of love people had for him and his character."
Joseph's mum hails from West Derby and the actor has previously told the ECHO about his strong Merseyside roots. Joseph still enjoys regular visits to the city and revealed why he will always have a connection to Liverpool. He said: "I'm no stranger to the Sefton Arms when I'm there, but family is the main reason I come home so that's the best part about visiting."
The ECHO has contacted London Film and Comic Con organisers Showmasters for comment.
