Stranger pulled up next to 'nervous' mum as she walked home from hospital

A first time mum has thanked the 'lovely' stranger who pulled up beside her after a 'stressful' day.

Nichola Thomas, 34, began yesterday morning (Monday) as she usually would, waking her two-year-old son Connor up and preparing their breakfast.

Nichola, who lives in Ranhill in St Helens, started to notice something was off with Connor when he refused to eat or drink anything and was acting out of character.
