Melbourne finally have some good news on the player front with skipper Harry Grant signing a contract extension that will keep him at the NRL club until the end of the 2028 season.

Coming on the back of their grand final loss, the Storm have been rocked by the brain injury that will keep Test second-rower Eli Katoa on the sidelines indefinitely while superstar fullback Ryan Papenhuyzen has walked out on his contract.
