Storm Eunice hits Everton travel plans for Southampton match

Everton have been forced to alter their travel plans to Southampton after Storm Eunice hit the UK on Friday.

Frank Lampard's side are heading to St Mary's for the new manager's fourth match in charge of the club for a kick-off scheduled for Saturday afternoon at 3pm.

However, the ECHO understands that the timing of the Blues' trip to the south coast has changed due to the adverse weather conditions presented by the current storm.

Further details of the club's arrangements are not available due to security reasons.

The Met Office has stated that there could be a 'danger to life' as a result of extremely strong winds.
