The Government's emergency Cobra committee is to meet to discuss ways to respond to the impact of Storm Dudley and Storm Eunice.
There is particular concern about Storm Eunice after the Met Office issued a red weather warning for parts of the UK on Friday.
The warning was upgraded because of the fear of 'flying debris resulting in danger to life'.
