The Met Office has issued a “danger to life” warning with Storm Dave set to batter parts of the UK with gusts up to 90mph over the Easter weekend.

Severe weather alerts have gone out for wind covering the whole of mainland Scotland, Northern Ireland, parts of northern England and north Wales from Saturday into Sunday.
