As someone who records vlogging content using smartphones, there's a glaring issue that's difficult to overcome; the selfie camera is the easiest option, as you can properly frame your shot using the screen, but that's usually the worst camera on your phone, while the best camera is around the back.
Quality matters to me so, a lot of the time, I flip the phone around and just guess my framing. Sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't — but so far, the solutions I have tried are far from ideal.
