Gary 'Mani' Mounfield died peacefully in his sleep of "respiratory issues" following a long-standing battle with the lung condition emphysema.
The Stone Roses and Primal Scream legend died on November 20, at the age of 63, and his cause of death has been revealed days before he's set to be laid to rest in Manchester on December 22.
