Stocks Turn Lower as Traders Eye Trump-Zelenskyy Tensions

The S&P 500 Index ($SPX) (SPY) today is down -0.17%, the Dow Jones Industrials Index ($DOWI) (DIA) is down -0.09%, and the Nasdaq 100 Index ($IUXX) (QQQ) is down -0.22%.  March E-mini S&P futures (ESH25) are down -0.18%, and March E-mini Nasdaq futures (NQH25) are down -0.21%. 

Stock indexes today found early support after the US Jan core PCE index, the Fed’s preferred inflation gauge, matched expectations. However, stocks turned slightly negative after midday when a White House meeting between President Trump, Vice President Vance, and Ukraine's President Zelenskyy turned contentious.
