Long liquidation pressures weighed on stocks Tuesday ahead of several market-moving events this week, including the conclusion of the 2-day FOMC meeting on Wednesday and post-meeting comments from Fed Chair Powell, earnings results from four megacap tech companies on Wednesday and Thursday, and Friday's monthly US jobs report.
