The S&P 500 Index ($SPX) (SPY) today is up +0.87%, the Dow Jones Industrials Index ($DOWI) (DIA) is up +1.13%, and the Nasdaq 100 Index ($IUXX) (QQQ) is up +0.82%.
US stocks today rebounded higher on some bargain hunting after the rout seen on Wednesday and Thursday. Stocks remained higher after this morning's US PCE deflator report, which was largely in line with dovish market expectations and supported the thesis for a Fed rate cut in September.
